Projects Developed in Laboratory
Project 1
Title of the project: Development of a quarter car model
Name of the Guide: Prof. A P Kokare
Description of Project:
- The purpose of this project is to design and simulate suspension system as a quarter car model. In this experiment two shock absorber are used with varied sprung mass and speed of vehicle.
- The performance of this system was determined using FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) analyzer. The results obtained by suspension system shown significant improvement in ride control, contact between road and tyre and reduced vibrations of sprung mass.

Project 2
Title of the project: Hybrid Electrical Vehicle
Name of the Guide: Prof. Kharadi F. H.
Description of Project:
- Hybridization of automotive where hybrid electric vehicle integrate to technically and commercially proven.
- Existing electric vehicle having problems like torque-speed characteristic, low load carrying capacity, range anxiety etc.
- Solution – development of new transmission system with synchromesh clutches,
For smooth and noiseless shifting from electric mode to IC engine mode and vise versa.
